North Devon District Hospital - Lessons currently suspended due to Covid-19.
Swimming Lessons for Babies and Pre-Schoolers - The pool is a small hydrotherapy pool heated to approximately 34°c. The pool is standing depth throughout. Spectators are more than welcome to watch on pool side but will need to stand as the pool is above ground level.
There are changing facilities and separate toilets available. If you wish to park in the Hospital grounds it is £1.80 alternatively you can park elswhere outside of the hospital grounds and walk up.
Entrance is through the main building and then follow signs to the physio department. This pool follows the STA Awards Scheme. Usually between 4 and 5 years of age these children will move to our West Buckland pool to continue their lessons.
Weekly lessons that last half an hour and with a maximum of 6 babies/children per class.
Monthly direct debit of £32.20 and a 10% sibling discount is available. The Double Nappy system is compulsory for all non-potty trained children at this pool.

Due to current restrictions, we are yet to return to the North Devon District Hospital hydrotherapy pool. We are hopeful that we can resume once all restrictions are lifted.
